“AEW Wrestler Pac Passes Away at 40”

English professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) based in the U.S., has passed away at the age of 40. AEW confirmed Satterley’s death through their social media platforms on Sunday. The cause of death has not been disclosed. Despite wrestling the night before on television against Andrade el Idolo in Chicago, news of his demise shocked fans.

Hailing from Newcastle, England, Satterley kickstarted his wrestling career in 2004 in the U.K. He ventured into various independent wrestling circuits globally, including Japan and Mexico, earning recognition for his agile high-flying maneuvers and impressive in-ring skills.

Formerly known as Adrian Neville, Satterley was associated with World Wrestling Entertainment from 2012 to 2018, excelling in the NXT developmental program and later the cruiserweight division. Moving to All Elite Wrestling in 2019, he quickly made a mark by winning multiple championships, including the inaugural international title.

Famous for his black arrow finishing move, a breathtaking corkscrew dive from the top rope, Satterley was nicknamed “The man that gravity forgot.” He predominantly portrayed a villainous character in the ring, also known as “The Bastard.” Despite maintaining a private life outside wrestling, tributes from colleagues and friends highlighted his exceptional talent and humble nature after his passing.

This tragic event follows the recent death of AEW wrestler Andy Williams, also known as The Butcher, who collapsed during an independent wrestling show in September. Satterley’s infrequent social media presence included a shared photo with Williams just days before his own passing.
