A traffic accident on the Trans-Canada Highway in western Newfoundland has resulted in the closure of both lanes, prompting authorities to advise drivers to steer clear of the affected area. According to a statement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on Thursday, the incident occurred approximately six kilometers west of the Flat Bay Junction, near Flat Bay and Route 403 in the Bay St. George region.
The RCMP indicated that there are no alternative routes available for motorists.
