The thrilling game included a dramatic last-minute touchdown by the Bombers to force overtime.

In the extra period, the Riders took the lead with a one-yard touchdown run by quarterback Tommy Stevens, his third touchdown of the game. Despite a failed two-point conversion attempt, the Riders held strong defensively to secure the win by stopping the Bombers on a crucial play.

Quarterback Trevor Harris led the Roughriders with an impressive performance, completing 23 of 33 passes for 362 yards and one touchdown. Harris acknowledged the team’s slow start but praised their ability to rally and secure a crucial victory against a tough opponent.

The victory boosted the Roughriders to an 8-4 record, placing them in second in the West Division behind the Edmonton Elks. The Bombers fell to a 6-6 record after the closely contested match.

With key receivers sidelined, Dhel Duncan-Busby stepped up for the Riders, delivering a standout performance with 10 receptions for 140 yards. The Saskatchewan defense also played a pivotal role, making key plays when needed.

Harris’s 72-yard completion to Daniel Wiebe moved him into 10th place on the CFL’s all-time passing list. Harris expressed gratitude for his teammates’ support and highlighted the team effort that propelled him to the milestone.

After his stellar performance, Harris now has 41,590 passing yards, inching closer to the ninth spot on the all-time passing list. KeeSean Johnson surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the second consecutive season, while Collaros and the Bombers put up a strong fight with their offensive contributions.
