The blaze, classified as a four-alarm fire, started shortly after midnight in the Bronx, quickly spreading to multiple units within the 17-story structure, as reported by the New York City Fire Department.
Over 200 firefighters and emergency personnel rushed to the location, with thick smoke billowing from the building and flames illuminating the night sky. Videos shared on social media captured the fire consuming parts of the upper floors, accompanied by massive plumes of smoke rising above the tower.
