BTS has thrilled fans with the announcement of an extensive world tour scheduled for 2026-2027. The popular K-pop group will be performing in Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia, making this tour one of their largest to date.
The tour will commence with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and April 11–12, 2026, followed by performances in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets for ARMY Membership holders will be available for purchase on January 22-23, with general ticket sales opening on January 24 across all regions. Looking ahead to 2026 and 2027, additional cities in Japan, the Middle East, and other locations will be announced for the tour. After completing their mandatory military service in South Korea in June 2025, BTS is set to make their official comeback on March 20, 2026.
BigHit Music confirmed the release of BTS’s fifth full-length studio album on the same day at 1 p.m. KST (midnight ET). The announcement created a surge of excitement among fans, causing the Weverse platform to briefly crash. This album will be the group’s first full studio release since Map of the Soul: 7 in February 2020, following the anthology album Proof released in June 2022.
