Truck Plows Into Anti-Iran Protesters in LA

Several individuals sustained injuries when a truck crashed into a gathering of anti-Iran protesters in Los Angeles, causing chaos and panic. The incident involved a U-Haul truck driving through a crowd of demonstrators, prompting people to flee as the vehicle advanced. Witnesses reported that the driver accelerated towards protesters carrying Iranian flags, seemingly trying to push through the group.

The truck displayed a large banner stating: “No Shah, No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah.” The incident took place during the day on Veteran Avenue in the Westwood district, where a large group had gathered to protest against Iran’s Islamic Republic.

An eyewitness, Susie Shoshana, recorded the event on her mobile device. She described coming out of a building after a party to find the Iran protest march unfolding in front of her. Shoshana captured footage of the U-Haul truck ramming through the protest.

Following the incident, the truck came to a stop and was surrounded by demonstrators. Some individuals were seen breaking the vehicle’s windows as tensions escalated. Additional videos showed the driver being pulled out of the truck by police officers, with onlookers screaming nearby. Protesters attempted to assault the suspect with punches and flagpoles before the police intervened to disperse the crowd and restore order.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that three people were injured in the truck collision with the protesters.
