Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre, receiving recognition for his exceptional NHL career spent solely with the Montreal Canadiens. The team announced that Price will return to the Bell Centre on November 10, following his Hall of Fame induction scheduled for the previous day.
As the 62nd member of the organization to enter the Hall of Fame, Price will join the prestigious ring of honour at the Bell Centre, a tribute reserved for former players who have reached the pinnacle of success in hockey. Throughout his 15-year tenure in Montreal, Price showcased remarkable skill and dedication.
Having played 712 games, Price maintained an impressive 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. He holds the franchise records for most games played and victories as a goaltender. The celebration of Price’s achievements will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild.
Price’s illustrious career includes seven all-star appearances and being selected fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. The Canadiens will commence their pre-season activities on September 19, with their regular season beginning on September 29 in a match against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
