Halifax authorities are currently investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a vehicle that collided with an adult and a child in a stroller. The incident occurred on Clifton Street around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Reportedly, the adult and child were struck by a man driving a black 2016 Jeep Cherokee while crossing the street in an unmarked crosswalk. After briefly stopping at the scene, the driver fled southbound on Clifton Street. The child sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the adult also suffered minor injuries. Law enforcement is urging anyone with relevant information or video recordings from the vicinity to contact the police or Crime Stoppers for assistance.
