Ottawa police reported a fatal multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Friday evening, resulting in the death of one woman and causing serious injuries to another. The incident took place at the intersection of March Road and Diamondview Road around 5:40 p.m., involving three vehicles.
Responding to the scene, officers confirmed the fatality of a 31-year-old woman, while a 37-year-old woman was airlifted to a hospital with severe injuries. The police authorities issued a statement before 11 p.m. urging individuals with dash camera footage or eyewitness accounts of the crash to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
