“Cambridge Man Arrested in Cocaine Trafficking Scheme”

A 20-year-old man from Cambridge, Ontario, has been arrested in relation to a case involving the transportation of cocaine from Canada to Hong Kong. Law enforcement officials have brought charges against the individual for exporting a Schedule 1 substance and participating in a conspiracy to commit a serious offense. The man made a court appearance in Kitchener for a bail hearing.

The investigation, led by the Waterloo Regional Police Service, commenced in September 2025 following the apprehension of a 20-year-old woman from Cambridge at Hong Kong International Airport. Authorities discovered 25 kilograms of suspected cocaine in her luggage. Recently, in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies, local police arrested a man from Markham, Ontario, believed to be linked to the alleged drug trafficking network responsible for assisting the Cambridge woman in traveling from Toronto to Hong Kong.
