Hyperoptic, a broadband provider, has announced an increase in mid-contract prices, with customers set to experience a £4 monthly bill hike starting from April 2026. This rise marks a jump from the previous increment of £3 per month. The price adjustment will impact both new and existing customers across all Hyperoptic broadband plans. Despite previously expressing opposition to annual price hikes, Hyperoptic now joins other major telecom companies in implementing larger increases.
In contrast to its earlier stance, in 2023, Hyperoptic’s policy director, James Fredrikson, stated that they do not typically raise prices mid-contract, emphasizing that the advertised price should remain constant throughout the contract period.
Sky Mobile has announced a £1.50 monthly bill increase for the majority of its customers, commencing on February 14, 2026. O2 has also revealed a rise in monthly mobile bills by £2.50 from April 2026, surpassing the initial planned increase of £1.80. Furthermore, Three mobile customers opting for data plans of 4GB or less will face a £1.80 monthly price hike from April 2026, representing an 80p raise from the current £1 increment.
For Three customers with data plans ranging from 4GB to over 100GB, the monthly price increments will be £1.90 and £2.30, respectively, starting in April 2026. Additionally, Three broadband users will see a £3.50 monthly bill increase from the same date. Vodafone mobile customers engaging in deals post-November 12 will experience a monthly bill rise of £2.50, while Basics SIM plan subscribers will face a £1.50 increment.
Vodafone broadband customers can expect a £3.50 monthly price surge. Notably, existing Vodafone and Three customers with active contracts will encounter price adjustments based on their agreed terms. Consumers are advised to review their current usage and consider switching providers or negotiating for better deals to potentially lower costs. Additionally, eligible individuals receiving benefits should explore the possibility of securing reduced tariffs.
