Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone 17e, offering significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Featuring a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, durable construction, and an impressive single-lens camera, the device is priced at £599, a notable £200 less than the flagship iPhone.
While the iPhone 17e stands out, Samsung has introduced its new A57 and A37 models, starting at £399. These phones boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 17e’s 60Hz screen in smoothness for tasks like web browsing, email navigation, and gaming.
The Galaxy devices come equipped with large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance. Samsung has integrated advanced AI features into the A37 and A57, including Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions for effortless photo adjustments and sharing.
An enhanced Voice Transcription feature in the Voice Recorder app enables users to transcribe or translate call recordings swiftly, simplifying the retrieval of crucial information from conversations or meetings. Samsung guarantees robust long-term support for the A57 5G and A37 5G, offering up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G starting at £529 for 256GB and the Galaxy A37 5G priced at £399 for 128GB. The A57 5G will be offered in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
