“Koepka’s PGA Return Shakes Up LIV Golf Players”

Tommy Fleetwood is pleased with Brooks Koepka’s comeback to the PGA Tour and mentioned that LIV Golf has not shown interest in him during this postseason. Koepka recently left the Saudi-backed tour and will be participating in the Farmers Insurance Open next week, marking his return to the PGA Tour.

The move by Koepka has put pressure on LIV Golf to retain their other key players, with Patrick Reed hinting at a possible return. Fleetwood, currently ranked No.3 globally, commended the PGA Tour for its strong position and lucrative events, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to compete there.

Regarding Koepka’s return, Fleetwood stated that it benefits the PGA Tour and emphasized the importance of aligning personal goals and dreams with the choice of tour. Meanwhile, LIV Golf, supported by the Public Investment Fund, has made significant investments in players like Koepka and Jon Rahm.

Fleetwood, a recent winner of the Tour Championships, is now aiming for his first Major victory. Despite not being pursued by LIV Golf, Fleetwood remains focused on his aspirations and the opportunities available to him. Shane Lowry, Fleetwood’s Ryder Cup teammate, shared positive views on Koepka’s decision to return to the PGA Tour, highlighting the potential impact on smaller events.

Lowry also reflected on his recent performance at the Dubai Invitational and his determination to bounce back from setbacks. The golfing community awaits further developments as players make decisions regarding their future tours.
