A 38-year-old woman employed as an education assistant in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, is confronting seven assault charges related to an incident involving an eight-year-old student, as per Kensington Police Service. The charges stem from an investigation prompted by a complaint from the Public Schools Branch.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, faces three counts of assault, one count of assault with a weapon, and three counts of assault causing bodily harm. Authorities have stated that the accused will have a court hearing at Summerside Provincial Court in the future.
