An individual who was a finalist on the TV show “I’m A Celebrity” has publicly shared that he is partially deaf in one ear due to an incident from his childhood. The 35-year-old radio host, Jordan North, disclosed his hearing impairment during a recent podcast conversation with Chris and Rosie Ramsey.
Jordan explained that his mother initially doubted his claim about his hearing issue, but his friend William Hanson confirmed the situation by mentioning that he had to adjust his seating position during the podcast recording due to Jordan’s ear condition. This revelation surprised the hosts, prompting them to inquire further about the incident.
Detailing the incident, Jordan revealed that he lost hearing in his right ear when he was around 12 or 13 years old after an outburst of anger led to a burst blood vessel in his ear. Despite needing a hearing aid, he admitted to rarely using it. The hosts expressed shock at the story and attempted to understand the circumstances better.
Additionally, Jordan recently shared his belief that comedian Josh Widdicombe harbored negative feelings towards him following a previous encounter. During a radio show with co-hosts Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Jordan expressed his long-standing concern about Josh’s opinion of him, fearing that he might come across as overly needy.
As part of a light-hearted scheme, Chris and Sian teased Jordan about Josh’s supposed dislike for him, leading to amusing interactions between the guests on the show. Ultimately, Josh clarified that he had received a message requesting him to behave coldly towards Jordan, dispelling any lingering doubts about his feelings towards Jordan.
