A fatal collision occurred in Brampton early Sunday morning, leading to the death of a man, as confirmed by Peel police. The incident involved two vehicles and took place around 1:10 a.m. near the intersection of The Gore Road and Castle Oaks Crossing. According to Const. Tyler Bell-Morena, initial findings suggest that both an SUV and a minivan were heading south on The Gore Road when the SUV collided with the minivan at the junction. The impact caused the SUV to overturn, causing the male driver in his 20s to be thrown from the vehicle and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services from York and Peel responded to the scene, where they attended to three individuals with injuries deemed non-life-threatening, transporting them to a nearby hospital. Police have advised residents to steer clear of road closures along The Gore Road between Gardenbrooke Trail and Castle Oaks Crossing.
