Current champions Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson achieved two wins on Thursday at the Montreal Elite stop of the FIVB Beach Pro Tour.
The Toronto pair defeated Carolina Horta and Ana Patricia Ramos from Brazil with a score of 21-12, 21-12 in the first match and secured another victory against the Lithuanian duo Monika Paulikiene and Aine Raupelyte with scores of 21-13, 21-16.
Humana-Paredes and Wilkerson are aiming for their third consecutive title after their victories in 2023 and 2025.
