Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime is set to lead the Canadian team during the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers taking place in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada has confirmed that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the Davis Cup, is scheduled to face sixth-ranked France in a crucial best-of-five tie at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team in this matchup will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers, Canada secured a tight 3-2 victory over Brazil, while France earned its spot in the upcoming round by overcoming Slovakia with a 3-1 win.
