“Reality TV Personality Arrested in Majorca Hotel Bill Scam”

A woman formerly linked to Prince Harry has been taken into custody for allegedly departing a hotel in Majorca without settling a bill amounting to nearly £450. Catherine Ommanney, a 53-year-old reality TV personality, was apprehended on suspicion of fraudulent activity after the hotel management reported the incident to the authorities. The alleged incident occurred at the Playas del Rey Hotel in Santa Ponsa near Magaluf, where she purportedly did not pay a bill exceeding €500 (£434) for her nine-day accommodation.

Law enforcement sources have verified the arrest of Catherine, who claimed to have engaged in intimate encounters with Harry during their past relationship. She made an appearance before a judge in Palma, the capital of Majorca, and was subsequently granted bail pending further investigation. Reports from the local newspaper Ultima Hora indicated that Catherine had made the hotel reservation using a payment card that lacked sufficient funds.

Details on whether Catherine provided an explanation in court are not yet available. Following her release, she refrained from making any statements to the press. Catherine, who disclosed her past fling with Harry in 2006, emphasized their connection and interactions during that period. The relationship reportedly dissolved after a few encounters, though they remained amicable when they coincidentally met again in 2009.

The Civil Guard spokesperson confirmed the arrest of the 53-year-old British woman for suspected fraud related to the hotel bill incident. Sources revealed that Catherine stayed at the Playas del Rey Hotel from January 2 to 11, with the outstanding bill amounting to approximately 550 Euros (£475). She attended court under an alias due to a previous marriage.

In response to the allegations, Catherine dismissed the accusations as falsehoods, asserting that the bill had been settled in full. She expressed intent to seek redress for what she deemed a technical error on the part of the hotel. Upon contacting the hotel for comment, it was mentioned that the manager was unavailable, and court officials have not responded concerning the status of the investigation.
