“Wizz Air Introduces WIZZ Class: Affordable Business-Class Experience”

Wizz Air introduces a new option termed WIZZ Class, aiming to offer passengers a business-class experience at an affordable price. This enhancement allows travelers on selected European routes to have an empty middle seat beside them for added comfort during the flight.

Passengers seated in the front row can opt for WIZZ Class, ensuring either seat 1B or 1E remains unoccupied. This feature allows individuals to enjoy more space and avoid sitting next to strangers. When booking online, WIZZ Class can be added to Smart and Plus bundles, providing benefits like a 10kg carry-on bag, priority boarding, a non-alcoholic beverage, and a snack.

The upgraded service is currently available on specific flights to and from Budapest, Bucharest Otopeni, Warsaw, London Luton, London Gatwick, and Rome Fiumicino. The pricing for WIZZ Class has not been disclosed yet, and further clarifications are pending from Wizz Air.

Silvia Mosquera, Wizz Air’s commercial officer, emphasized the airline’s response to the growing demand for enhanced travel experiences without the high costs associated with traditional business class. The WIZZ Class offering aims to provide passengers with the desired space and service without compromising the airline’s straightforward and convenient model.

In addition to the WIZZ Class introduction, Wizz Air has reinstated its All You Can Fly program, allowing frequent flyers to travel across its network for a yearly fee of €499.99. The airline also offers the Wizz Multipass subscription starting from £59.99 per month, providing monthly travel options on selected flights with the choice to include luggage.

Moreover, Wizz Air has expanded its routes from London Luton Airport by adding six new destinations, taking over slots previously operated by TUI. The new flights include routes to Yerevan, Alicante, Lyon, Corfu, Faro, and Turin, increasing the total routes from Luton to 39 and offering connections across Europe and to the Middle East. Notably, the direct flight to Yerevan marks the UK’s first non-stop route to Armenia, enhancing accessibility for British tourists.
