Lenovo has introduced a new competitor to the tablet market, challenging Apple’s iPad dominance with the launch of the Tab Plus Gen 2. The device boasts a large 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision visuals, making it stand out from other tablets.
One unique feature of the Tab Plus Gen 2 is its large circular speaker powered by JBL technology, offering high-quality sound output. This speaker can also transform the device into a Bluetooth speaker, enhancing the audio experience with Dolby Atmos support. Additionally, the tablet includes a built-in kickstand with a 360-degree design for flexible viewing angles and improved portability.
Under the hood, the Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a sizable 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and 128GB of storage that can be expanded using an SD Card. Priced at £369 on the Lenovo website, the Tab Plus Gen 2 presents a cost-effective alternative to Apple’s iPad lineup, with the base iPad starting at £429 and the upgraded Air model priced at £749.
