The recalled product weighs 1412g and carries a use-by date of July 25, 2025. Customers who purchased this item can return it to the nearest Waitrose store for a refund or contact Waitrose customer service at 0800 188 884. In an online statement, Waitrose expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the recall.

Lidl also recently recalled batches of its fruit and nut bars over concerns of potential plastic contamination. The recall applies to Alesto Raw Fruit and Nut Bars with best before dates of December 2025 (batch code L24337) and November 2025 (batch code L24316).
Additionally, Grape Tree has recalled its Raw Unsalted Macadamia Nuts due to the presence of Shiga toxin-producing E.coli in one batch. The affected product has the batch code G41 5 101 250610 and a best before date of July 11, 2026, with a pack size of 250g.
