Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will soon receive Sky Atlantic for free starting next month. This addition includes popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus without any increase in bills. The update is set to roll out to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers on April 1.
To access Sky Atlantic programming, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, content will be available on-demand and through Virgin TV Go. David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the seamless entertainment value offered by the inclusion of Sky Atlantic on Virgin TV.
In parallel, Sky has announced the launch of a new Ultimate TV plan, priced at £24, which will feature premium channels such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. This plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, highlighted that this update represents a new era for Sky and NOW, combining Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription package.
