Facing a 3-1 deficit against Pietreczko, Littler, known as ‘The Nuke,’ staged a comeback, winning nine of the next 12 legs with an impressive average to advance to the last eight in Minehead.
Pietreczko’s comment during the interval at 5-5 fueled Littler further, with the young player expressing determination to win the game after hearing it. Littler mentioned being perplexed by the comment but used it as motivation to showcase his skills and secure the victory.
With an average of 102.67 and six 180s, the rising star born in 2007 and reigning world No.1 following his Grand Slam win, displayed exceptional power scoring in the match.
