“Question Time Audience Applauds as Bonnie Greer Criticizes Trump”

Sections of the Question Time audience showed approval when a guest criticized Donald Trump last night. Bonnie Greer, a broadcaster originally from the US but residing in the UK for many years, responded to a question during the Donald Trump special following the conclusion of the President’s state visit. The question raised was about what Trump could teach the UK regarding immigration, to which Ms. Greer straightforwardly replied, “Nothing.”

The audience warmly applauded and nodded in agreement at her response, which stood out among the panel members, including James Cleverly, Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government, and Piers Morgan. Ms. Greer, a Chicago native, elaborated on her opinion by stating that the US has become less civil, emphasizing the importance of due process and the rule of law in a civilized society, elements she believes Trump has undermined.

She further criticized Trump’s immigration policies, highlighting instances where individuals captured by ICE could be deported to unrelated countries, such as South Sudan. This critique garnered more applause from the London audience after Trump’s state visit, during which he discussed immigration measures with Keir Starmer. Piers Morgan, a close associate of the US President, also supported using military involvement to address immigration challenges, a sentiment echoed by Fiona Bruce during the show.

After his visit, Trump departed for the USA, having engaged in discussions and agreements with Keir Starmer, including a substantial tech deal. The evening concluded with both leaders celebrating their accomplishments.
