“New iPhone Deals: 16e at £20/month, 17e Upgrade at £599”

Now is an opportune moment to acquire a new iPhone at reduced prices. Sky Mobile, for instance, is currently providing the iPhone 16e for just £17 per month with a £12 upfront fee. While this offer excludes calls, texts, and data, Sky’s SIM deals starting at £3 can bring the total cost down to as low as £20 per month.

This deal is not exclusive, as other retailers like Mobiles.co.uk also have the iPhone 16e priced below £23.

For those unfamiliar, the iPhone 16e boasts a 6.1-inch display, A18 processor, and a single rear camera. Additionally, it features wireless charging, Face ID security, and a design encased in durable glass.

Apple recently unveiled the upcoming release of the iPhone 17e, which will hit stores next week. The new model will introduce upgrades including an enhanced A19 processor, stronger Ceramic Shield design, and a new Pink color option. It will also support MagSafe, enabling easy attachment to charging docks and accessories like wallets.

Moreover, the iPhone 17e will come with increased storage capacity of 256GB, double that of the 16e. Surprisingly, despite the added features, the pricing remains consistent, starting from £599 in 2026.

If opting for a contract, Sky is offering the 17e starting at £19 per month, just £2 more than the 16e.

Consumers now face a decision between the budget-friendly iPhone 16e or investing slightly more for the enhanced features of the 17e. In our view, the additional functionalities, particularly MagSafe and expanded storage, justify the slight price increase.
