Live Unlimited Faces Administration as Cefinn Ceases Operations

A well-known plus-size fashion label retailed by Next and Marks and Spencer is facing the possibility of entering administration. Live Unlimited has taken steps to appoint administrators, triggering a legal measure that temporarily halts creditor actions for ten days.

According to reports, Irwin Mitchell has been selected to oversee the administration process. Requests for comments from Live Unlimited and Irwin Mitchell have been made by Mirror.

Established in 2012 by Rachel Heather and Tracy Egan, Live Unlimited initially began as a limited collection and later expanded into a full-fledged brand in 2017. The company recently collaborated with Nordstrom to offer its clothing range, catering to sizes 12 to 28, in the United States.

In a separate development, the fashion company founded by Lady Samantha Cameron, wife of former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, is set to cease operations. Lady Cameron confirmed that the upcoming winter collection will mark the conclusion of Cefinn’s journey. While the King’s Road and Elizabeth Street stores in London will continue to operate for the foreseeable future, the decision to wind down the brand was described as challenging due to escalating costs and profitability concerns.

Lady Cameron expressed gratitude to supporters and acknowledged the difficulty in moving away from the fashion brand after a successful eight-year run. She noted the ongoing challenges in the fashion industry and the necessity to ensure sustainable growth for Cefinn’s future. Lady Cameron hopes that the brand will continue to resonate with its followers in the years ahead.
