KSI launched a fierce social media onslaught after Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor in the main event of Misfits Mania on Saturday night. The two had been engaged in a feud since October when Tate took over as the CEO of Misfits Boxing, replacing KSI.
The popular YouTube personality was furious about the change, as he had co-founded the organization with manager Mams Taylor. Prior to the fight, KSI couldn’t help but celebrate Anthony Joshua’s victory over Jake Paul on Twitter, with Joshua winning in six rounds.
KSI has a longstanding rivalry with Paul, originating from past boxing encounters involving their siblings. Expressing his hopes for the weekend, KSI tweeted, “Now I just need an Arsenal win and Andrew Tate to get knocked out and then this will be a fantastic weekend.”
Arsenal indeed secured a 1-0 win against Everton during the weekend. After Tate’s defeat, KSI tweeted, “This is the best weekend I’ve had this year omg.”
Further taunting his opponents, KSI shared a photo of Paul and Tate in vulnerable moments after their fights, captioning it with, “Christmas came early,” along with a crying emoji.
Despite Tate’s extensive background in combat sports including MMA, kickboxing, K1, and Muay Thai, he hadn’t competed professionally in boxing for five years and had never been in a boxing match before.
Although Tate started strongly, his stamina seemed to dwindle as the fight progressed. DeMoor capitalized on this weakness, delivering a decisive right hand that turned the tide of the match.
Post-fight, Tate acknowledged DeMoor’s victory, stating, “I’m gonna have to go back, watch the fight, make a decision but Chase deserves his win.” He added, “I’m really happy for him, genuinely. Better to try and lose than to not try at all.”
Following his defeat, Tate shared several posts on Twitter, with his first message saying, “Most men have never felt the sting of defeat because most men have never even tried.”
