As part of the itinerary, Trump will be entertained by a performance from the British Army’s Red Devils at Chequers.
During the visit, special artifacts from Winston Churchill’s life will be showcased, highlighting the close personal connection between the former British Prime Minister and America. The menu for the occasion includes British favorite Dover Sole with peas and potatoes as the main course, followed by the American classic key lime pie for dessert.
Gavin Barwell, Theresa May’s former chief-of-staff, advised that arrangements should be made to steer clear of major protests during the state visit. Barwell emphasized the need to respect the right to protest while suggesting that events should be organized at locations further away to avoid direct confrontation with demonstrators.
