ITV has made adjustments to its daytime lineup as part of a significant cost-cutting initiative. In light of this, Coleen Nolan is exploring new ventures beyond television, including embarking on a second UK tour. Following the success of her 2024 show “Naked,” she is set to launch a new solo performance titled “This Is Me” starting next month.
The upcoming show will delve into Coleen’s life journey, beginning with her upbringing in Blackpool and tracing her path to success, which commenced with an appearance on The Cliff Richard show as a member of the original six-strong Nolan Sisters before she turned nine.
While recounting her life story, Coleen will also address challenging episodes such as her divorces from Shane Ritchie and Ray Fensome, along with her unexpected diagnosis of basal-cell carcinoma. Emphasizing the importance of honesty and authenticity, she shared with Woman’s Weekly, “It’s very difficult to maintain a facade that isn’t true to who you are.” She expressed that her show is about embracing life, honesty, humor, and self-celebration.
The past year presented personal hardships for Coleen, marked by the loss of her sister Linda to cancer. Reflecting on the upcoming Christmas without Linda, she acknowledged the void her sister’s absence will bring to family gatherings, describing Linda as the vibrant heart of their celebrations.
Additionally, significant changes took place within the Loose Women program, where Coleen has been a part of the team since 2000. Following ITV’s announcement, she expressed her sadness at bidding farewell to longtime colleagues and the iconic Television Centre where her television career began at the age of nine. Despite the changes, she looks forward to the show’s new chapter in different studios and formats.
As she prepares for her tour, Coleen aims to lead audiences through a rollercoaster of emotions, from joyous moments to poignant memories. The show will feature music performances and a special appearance by her son Shane Jr., adding a personal touch to the storytelling experience.
