“Boutique Hotel in Lisbon Offers Unique Bathroom-Themed Experience”

Searching for accommodation, whether in the UK or globally, can be overwhelming given the multitude of options available. However, my curiosity was piqued when I stumbled upon a four-star boutique hotel in Europe with a unique bathroom theme, prompting me to make a reservation.

I checked into WC by The Beautique Hotels for a three-night stay during one summer, located on the bustling Almirante Reis street in Lisbon, Portugal. After attending a wedding in the country, followed by a few days of exploring the city, the hotel seemed like the ideal place to unwind.

Upon arrival, the extraordinary bathroom theme immediately caught my attention. From tap graphics on the entrance doors to a striking image of a woman with a shower cap on a large window, the WC concept was creatively integrated throughout the hotel.

The front desk featured a prominent white bathtub with a sleek silver faucet, complemented by a rose gold shower head above. A serene ambiance was created by a feature wall adorned with raindrops and flowing water, evoking a spa-like atmosphere.

As I waited at the front desk, I admired the consistent bathroom theme present in every corner. The water floor tiles, the blue curvy bar housing a mini bathtub and a bottle of gin, the gleaming blue tiled walls, and the second reception desk enclosed by a clear shower curtain all contributed to the immersive experience.

The surprise continued when one of the receptionists appeared in long-sleeved silk pajamas, adding to the thematic flair. It was amusing to see staff members occasionally don towels on their heads, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the hotel.

Entering my deluxe double room, which offered panoramic views of Lisbon’s streets, I found a circular bed positioned in front of expansive windows draped with shower-like curtains. The room’s glossy turquoise tiles, white wardrobes, and bubble-like glasses added to the bathroom-inspired décor.

Despite the slightly underwhelming bathroom design, given the thematic constraints, it was spacious and well-equipped with essential amenities, including plush robes. The room’s cool blue tones were offset by warm golden lighting and a comfortable bed, creating a cozy atmosphere.

The hotel’s facilities and comfort level were commendable, resembling a spa-like environment throughout. Even the hallways were adorned with décor mimicking running water, with bedroom doors resembling steamy shower doors. For a unique and memorable stay, I highly recommend WC by The Beautique Hotels, especially the buffet breakfast offering.
