Aljaz Škorjanec, aged 35, has disclosed his preferred dance partner, revealing a shift from Janette Manrara, 42, with whom he appeared on the BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” and married in 2017. Recently, due to an injury, Aljaz was partnered with La Voix on the show until the latter had to exit unexpectedly. Meanwhile, Janette took her usual hosting role on It Takes Two alongside Fleur East.
Though the couple welcomed baby Lyra in July 2023, they still perform together and are preparing for the Let’s Face The Music… And Dance! tour in April. During a joint appearance on Lorraine, Aljaz humorously mentioned that Janette had transitioned to being his “number two” on the dance floor, with their daughter now joining in their kitchen dance sessions.
As they embark on tour, the couple will rely on support from grandparents. Janette, accustomed to balancing motherhood and her stage career, secured the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, expressing immense joy and gratitude for the opportunity.
