“Home Alone Actor Daniel Stern Cited for Prostitution Solicitation”

Daniel Stern, known for his role in “Home Alone,” has reportedly been cited for allegedly soliciting a prostitute in California. The incident occurred on December 10, as per reports from US media outlet TMZ. Although the actor was not arrested, the citation could lead to a misdemeanor charge in California, carrying a possible six-month prison sentence or a $1,000 fine upon conviction.

No official statement has been released by representatives of the former Hollywood star regarding the accusation. Stern, who has been married to Laure Mattos since 1980 and has three children with her, shifted his focus from acting to artistry after the success of the “Home Alone” films. Recently, he was approached by the owners of the iconic “Home Alone House” to create a sculpture depicting one of his memorable scenes from the movie.

“Home Alone” remains a beloved holiday classic since its release in 1990. However, a keen observer on social media pointed out several inconsistencies in the film that had gone unnoticed for years. Noteworthy among them were logistical errors like how the character Kevin managed to order a pizza when the phone lines were down, and why he did not contact the police despite having a working phone. Additionally, the observer highlighted a plot hole involving Kevin not informing his neighbor about the impending robbery.

Moreover, it was revealed that Joe Pesci, who played one of the robbers in the film, was not the initial choice for the role. Reports suggest that Robert De Niro was considered for the part before Pesci was cast. Director Chris Columbus mentioned internal discussions about casting decisions, including attempts to involve comedian Jon Lovitz in the film.

The Mirror has reached out to Daniel Stern’s spokesperson for comments on the situation. For more entertainment news and updates, follow Mirror Celebs on various social media platforms.
