Belle Hassan has admitted to engaging in playful late-night messaging with fellow Love Island contestant Joe Garratt shortly before joining the Love Island: All Stars villa. Belle expressed her fondness for Joe, referring to him as her “safety net.” She acknowledged their attempts to keep their interactions friendly, but confessed to occasional flirtatious exchanges.
In an interview with The Mirror, Belle expressed her desire to have Joe Garratt on the show, emphasizing their close friendship and denying any romantic involvement in the past due to their timing being off with relationships. This is the first time they are both single simultaneously, leading Belle to set boundaries for their interactions, including a post-10pm “no flirting” rule.
Recently, Belle’s father, Tamer Hassan, praised his daughter publicly, humorously mentioning his vigilant eye on her activities. Belle shared that her father’s intimidating presence could deter potential suitors, but reassured that he is a caring figure despite his tough exterior.
In a previous season, Joe coupled up with Lucie Donlan while Belle was partnered with Anton Danyluk. Joe’s return to the All Stars Series in 2024 ended abruptly as he was eliminated from the villa unexpectedly. In a post-elimination interview, Joe reflected on his decision to choose Arabella over Molly Smith during a recoupling, highlighting his preference for allowing natural connections to form rather than forcing relationships.
Love Island: All Stars premieres on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. For more entertainment news and updates, follow Mirror Celebs on various social media platforms.
