“Allied Pharmacies Rescues 60 Jhoots Locations”

A popular chain of pharmacies on the high street has stepped in to rescue 60 struggling branches belonging to a competitor company. Allied Pharmacies has now taken control of these 60 Jhoots Pharmacies locations, most of which are currently closed. Allied has assured the public that they are dedicated to reopening these branches and restoring essential pharmacy services.

With this acquisition, Allied’s network will expand to approximately 210 branches across England and Wales, as reported by C+D. The company emphasized the importance of community pharmacies in promoting public health and well-being and acknowledged the impact of the closures on vulnerable individuals who rely on these local healthcare services.

In a recent development, Members of Parliament were informed that Jhoots Pharmacies were facing closures, raising concerns about the potential lack of access to healthcare services in affected communities. Allegations were also made by staff members regarding payment delays and financial difficulties.

The ownership of these pharmacies is divided between siblings Manjit and Sarbjit Jhooty. Manjit Jhooty, who owns over 20 Jhoots branches through Pasab and Jhoots Healthcare, denied any operational issues. On the other hand, Sarbjit Jhooty, who reportedly owns the remaining 129 branches, acknowledged challenges with workforce and recruitment and stated efforts to address these issues.

Both brothers have responded to media inquiries regarding the situation at Jhoots Pharmacies. Manjit reassured that his businesses are financially stable and continue to provide essential services to their communities. Sarbjit acknowledged the challenges and assured that steps were being taken to resolve them.
