The job commences in late March, continuing until mid-October, depending on weather conditions. Days off are determined by the weather, with the possibility of intense work periods during extended sunny spells or busy periods due to bad weather affecting sailings.
In return for their efforts, caretakers will receive wages, food, and accommodation. However, alcohol and toiletries are not included in the provided amenities.
