Tesco has announced a special offer for Clubcard members, providing two points for every £1 spent on gift cards throughout December. The promotion is valid for all third-party gift card purchases at Tesco stores during the entire month.
This means that customers will receive double points when buying any type of gift card at Tesco, not limited to Tesco gift cards. The additional points will be automatically credited to the Clubcard account.
Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the benefits of the promotion, stating that by earning two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful presents while also receiving rewards for themselves.
Tesco currently boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various transactions, such as grocery purchases in-store and online, fuel purchases at Tesco petrol stations, Tesco Mobile spending, Tesco credit card transactions, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card usage. A minimum of 150 points is required to redeem a Clubcard voucher, equivalent to £1.50 to spend in Tesco.
