Coronation Street actress Paula Lane has welcomed her third child, expressing how much they were anticipated. The Emmerdale star, aged 39, shared heartwarming photos of her newborn son named Patrick, snug in a blue knitted outfit and a cute bobble hat alongside his delighted parents and their pet dog.
In a post captioning the series of photos where Paula lovingly holds her wrapped-up baby, she wrote: “Welcome to the world, Patrick. Our hearts are full of love for you. You were eagerly awaited…thank you for making us whole.” Additionally, on her Instagram Stories, a picture shows the baby in the arms of his father, Tom Shaw, who is seen holding a bottle of whiskey with ‘Paddy’ on the label, celebrating his third-time fatherhood.
Known for her role as Ella Forster in Emmerdale, the actress received an outpouring of well-wishes from her celebrity friends promptly after sharing the joyful news.
Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh expressed her joy, saying: “Congratulations, such wonderful news.” Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity star Lisa Riley conveyed her best wishes, sending love to Paula, Tom, and their children, emphasizing the love that Patrick will be surrounded with.
Paula and Tom had revealed their pregnancy last summer. In an Instagram announcement, Paula tagged her husband and revealed: “Exciting news to share from us.” She added: “Christmas just got merrier. Our baby boy is due in December 2025.”
