A UK couple, Roger and Sue Topp, are opting for a Christmas Day in Benidorm this year, a destination they have frequented over 100 times. The couple from Leicester has been visiting Benidorm for more than 35 years, considering it their second home. They switched from UK holidays to Benidorm due to its favorable weather, cleanliness, safety, and affordability.
The couple, married for 55 years, will fly to Benidorm on December 23 for their eighth visit this year. They plan to enjoy Christmas at the Hotel Rio Park, where they will indulge in a traditional Christmas lunch and various entertainment offerings. They appreciate the stress-free experience provided by TUI holidays at the hotel.
Known for their love of Benidorm, the couple enjoys exploring the golden sand beaches, Old Town strolls, and dining experiences. Their favorite destinations include a Chinese buffet offering unlimited drinks and a tapas bar where they can enjoy delicious tapas and wine at a great price.
Having booked their trips through TUI, Roger and Sue have established a close relationship with the travel agency, feeling like part of the family. The couple’s consistent visits to Benidorm have been facilitated by TUI agent Cameron Morton, who has been assisting them for over a decade.
Despite having visited Benidorm over 100 times, Roger and Sue have no plans to stop their annual trips, emphasizing the destination’s friendliness, affordability, and variety of offerings. They encourage others to experience Benidorm beyond stereotypes and believe it caters to all ages and budgets.
