Darts Champion Luke Littler Shuns Jungle Trials

Luke Littler has made it clear that he has no intention of following his friend Angry Ginge into the jungle, despite the YouTuber’s recent victory on a reality TV show set around a campfire.

The darts champion, known as The Nuke, congratulated Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, on winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. However, Littler, who is about to defend his Professional Darts Corporation title at Alexandra Palace, firmly stated that he will not participate in the challenging bushtucker trials for any amount of money.

The 18-year-old from Warrington emphasized his refusal to endure tasks like consuming kangaroo anus or crocodile genitalia for entertainment. Littler expressed his aversion to being far from home, facing extreme eating challenges, and enduring the overall experience of the jungle, particularly after witnessing the trials faced by other contestants such as rapper Aitch.

Burtwistle, aged 24, emerged as the King of the Jungle following his three-week stint in the Australian rainforest, with Tom Read Wilson as the runner-up and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty in third place. In the final bushtucker trial, Angry Ginge faced various challenges, including snakes and critters in a task named Helmet of Hell, while Read Wilson had to consume unusual foods like camel’s brain and pig’s reproductive organ.

To celebrate his friend’s victory in Australia, Littler attended a Manchester United match at Molineux, where the team secured a 4-1 win against Wolves. He was captured on TV cameras alongside Manchester United’s head of fan engagement, Rick McGagh. United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes, acknowledged Littler’s presence at the game and responded to his tweet about enjoying his first away day with a darts emoji.
