Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an upgrade to the previous Freestyle model, boasting enhanced AI capabilities, brighter visuals, and more entertainment options.
One of the notable improvements on the Freestyle+ is its user-friendly setup process. Users simply need to power on the device, and it automatically adjusts the picture quality using Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This feature ensures optimal viewing experiences on various surfaces without any hassle.
AI OptiScreen also introduces several innovative functions to enhance image quality in different environments. Features like 3D Auto Keystone correct image distortions on uneven surfaces, while Real-time Focus maintains sharp picture quality even when the projector is moved. Additionally, Screen Fit adjusts image sizes for compatible projector screens, and Wall Calibration optimizes image clarity based on the projection surface.
These intelligent features streamline the projector setup process, making it more convenient for users. The Freestyle+ remains portable, featuring a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, and access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, shared, “The Freestyle+ embodies Samsung’s commitment to creating adaptable displays that cater to users’ dynamic lifestyles. With its portability and intelligent AI, this projector offers a seamless, high-quality viewing experience wherever you go.”
Although pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is anticipated to hit stores early in 2026.
