“The Traitors” returns with a fresh set of stars prepared for a suspenseful murder mystery experience. The fifth season’s cast was revealed on Friday, assembling a mix of celebrities and reality TV personalities in a castle where trust is scarce.
This season introduces singer Cody Simpson, Whitney Leavitt from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Real Housewife Gizelle Bryant, and multi-talented performer Kristin Chenoweth, among others. Host Alan Cumming designates a few players as traitors while the rest are faithful. The traitors plot in secret to eliminate a faithful member each week, leading to intense debates and accusations during the episodes to identify and eliminate the traitors.
“The Traitors,” renewed for three more seasons, swept the 76th Emmy Awards with wins in categories like outstanding reality competition program and outstanding host for Alan Cumming.
The full cast includes Bianca Del Rio from “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Canadian content creator Boman Martinez-Reid, Bronwyn Newport from “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” Casey Wilson from “The Great American Baking Show,” Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, Craig Conover from “Southern Charm,” Cynthia Bailey from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Dominic Monaghan known for “The Lord of The Rings” trilogy, and more.
