A tragic incident occurred in Meductic, a small village located around 30 kilometers southeast of Woodstock, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old teenager. The fatal accident occurred when the young boy, riding a dirt bike, collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Crow Hill Drive and Temple Road around 1 p.m. on Thursday, as reported by the police.
According to the RCMP, the collision happened when the dirt bike, heading north on Crow Hill Drive, failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into the eastbound pickup truck on Temple Road. The teenager, a resident of Hartin Settlement to the southwest of the accident site, tragically lost his life at the scene of the crash.
Fortunately, the driver of the pickup truck, who was the sole occupant, escaped unharmed from the collision. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
