Coronation Street veteran Jack P Shepherd received a flood of well-wishes after his wife, Hanni, shared an update on their life.
Having entered the ITV soap at just 12 years old, Jack has portrayed the character of David Platt since 2000, son of Martin Platt and Gail. David has been at the center of numerous intense storylines over the years, from harrowing incidents involving his family to emotional plotlines.
In recent Corrie episodes, David faced a major crash during a crossover with Emmerdale, leading to the premature birth of his daughter who requires critical surgery. Outside of his TV role, Jack enjoys a peaceful life with his wife, Hanni Treweek.
The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony in Manchester last summer, following a romantic proposal by Jack during a safari holiday a year earlier.
On his 38th birthday, Hanni took to Instagram to express her love for Jack, sharing a stunning black and white photo from their wedding day. Jack reciprocated the gesture by reposting the tribute for his 519,000 followers.
In another Instagram post, Jack was seen celebrating with his co-stars Ben Price and Colson Smith after recording their podcast. The trio realized it was Jack’s birthday at the stroke of midnight, leading to a jovial exchange captured in a video.
