“Iranian State TV Threatens Trump Amid Rising Tensions”

Iranian state television has made a disturbing threat against US President Donald Trump following his comments urging opponents of the regime to ‘Make Iran Great Again’. The threat was accompanied by a broadcast showing a still image of Trump with a bloodied ear, warning that “This time, the bullet won’t miss.”

Trump recently claimed he had received information from reliable sources indicating that planned executions in Iran had ceased, despite reports of ongoing violence and crackdowns on protesters by Iranian authorities. He had previously expressed support for Iranian protestors and promised assistance in their struggle against the government.

Reports from activists suggest that between 2,500 and 3,000 people have been killed since protests erupted in Iran, with the country’s justice chief calling for swift punishment for over 18,000 detainees through expedited trials and executions.

Families have expressed anguish over the rapid and harsh sentences handed down to their loved ones, including Erfan Soltani, a 26-year-old protester who was scheduled to be hanged for his alleged involvement in anti-government activities.

Amid escalating tensions, Britain has closed its embassy in Iran and reduced its diplomatic presence due to security concerns. The Foreign Office has advised British citizens against traveling to Iran in light of the current situation.
