“Twisted Child Killer Levi Aron Dies in Prison”

An eight-year-old child was tragically kidnapped and murdered by a sinister individual who later confessed to dismembering the young victim and storing his feet in a freezer. Levi Aron, the twisted perpetrator, passed away in prison recently, marking the 15th anniversary of the heinous crime.

The victim, Leiby Kletzky, was walking home alone for the first time but got lost and sought help from Aron, ultimately meeting a horrific fate. The incident, which occurred on July 11, 2011, in Borough Park, Brooklyn, shook the local Orthodox Jewish community, prompting a massive search effort by thousands of volunteers.

Aron deceitfully took the child to a wedding before realizing the extensive search underway for Leiby. He later admitted to drugging and suffocating the boy before dismembering his body and discarding the remains. Shockingly, the child’s severed feet were found in Aron’s freezer near the victim’s residence.

Following Aron’s arrest, he confessed to the kidnapping and murder, receiving a 40-year to life prison sentence. Nearly 15 years into his incarceration, Aron passed away at the age of 49 in a hospital after being transferred from the Wende Correctional Facility due to a medical condition.

The victim’s family, who endured threats following the tragedy, requested an autopsy for Aron. The victim’s father, Nachman Kletzky, condemned the murder of his son as “utterly reckless, malicious, and wanton,” choosing not to comment on Aron’s demise.
