President Donald Trump has expressed his thoughts on his wife Melania’s new ambitious project, summing it up in just two words. Discussing the First Lady’s upcoming Amazon documentary with reporters, he simply stated, “It’s incredible.”
Although he admitted to not having seen the final film, Trump shared that the snippets he had seen had left a strong impression on him. Speaking aboard Air Force One, he mentioned, “I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible… she did a book and the book was a big number one best seller, and this is a movie and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention.”
The details of how Trump and Melania first met and her subtle jabs at her husband remain relatively unknown to the public.
The documentary named “Melania,” spearheaded by controversial director Brett Ratner and executive produced by the First Lady, is set to premiere later this month at the Kennedy Center before its nationwide release through Amazon MGM Studios.
Trump also shared insights on the documentary’s premiere event, stating, “The premiere [is going to be] at the Trump Kennedy Center, it will be very exciting. It’s a very hard ticket I can tell you, everybody, Wayne Gretzky and his wife Janet … he said last night ‘gee I wanna go’. Everybody wants tickets to the premiere. I think it’s going to be great.”
The film will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the President’s wife during the 20 days leading up to his second term inauguration, showcasing intimate moments and interactions with family, officials, and notable figures.
“Melania” is slated for release by Amazon in the United States on January 30, 2026. The production marks the anticipated return of Brett Ratner to the industry after facing misconduct allegations in 2017, as well as his connection to the Epstein Files.
